Who we are

HearthPages prepares website previews for local businesses and then offers to put them online. Contact for any question about your data: info@hearthpages.com.

What data

Only business information the business has already published: trading name, address, business phone and email, opening hours, link and photos from its business Instagram posts, map position. No customer data, no reviews, no photos of people.

Where it comes from

OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL licence) and the public posts of the business's own account (the business).

Why and on what basis

To prepare a website preview and show it once to the business, with one business message and at most one reminder 7 days later. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)); the offer relates to the recipient's business.

How long

The preview expires after 14 days and is deleted with its photos. If you ask not to be contacted, we keep only a hashed fingerprint of the email address so we never write again.

Who has access

Only us and our technical hosts (website and email hosting). No selling, no advertising sharing. The page is not indexed by search engines and uses no cookies or trackers.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction (GDPR art. 15-21). To delete the preview at once and not be contacted again, write to remove@hearthpages.com: removal is immediate. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
